  ACTION GUIDE: MARCH 2002

In our Action/Advocacy role, the League is nonpartisan but we use our positions to advocate for or against particular policies in the public interest.

The League is taking a stand on four of the six propositions on the ballot on March 5, 2002.

See our detailed analysis for each proposition including description and background, important points, a list of supporters and opponents, resources for more information, and sample letters to the editor:

Yes on 40 -- Yes on 41 -- Yes on 43 -- Yes on 45

Read our flyer for a summary of our recommendations in English or in Spanish. Consider printing it and giving it to your friends! (Also available in PDF format in English).

We are taking "no position" on the other two propositions meaning that we are not taking a stand either "for" or "against" the proposition.
