In our Action/Advocacy role, the League is nonpartisan but we use our positions to advocate for or against particular policies in the public interest.

The League is recommending a "YES" vote on Propositions 55 and 56 in the March 2, 2004 election.

Looking at bond measures - can we afford the bond measures (propositions 55 and 57) on the ballot?

We are taking "no position" on Propositions 57 and 58 meaning that we are not taking a stand either for or against the propositions.
