  ACTION GUIDE: JUNE 3, 2008

In our Action/Advocacy role, the League is nonpartisan but we use our positions to advocate for or against particular policies in the public interest. We never take positions on candidates or political parties.

We recommend a "NO" vote on Proposition 98 and a "YES" vote on Proposition 99.

*Read our flyer for a summary of our recommendations for your vote on propositions. Consider printing it and giving it to your friends! (Also available in PDF ). PDF File. Click to download Adobe Acrobat Reader.

See our warning about deceptive Yes on 98 radio ads. PDF File. Click to download Adobe Acrobat Reader.

Detailed analysis of both propositions will be available soon.

We only take stands on measures when we have studied the issue and our membership has reached agreement on the policies and positions to support.
