New International Relations Group

An International Relations Committee is being organized for LWVC. The chair will be Doris Sutter, LWV Marin County, who is working on getting together some additional committee members from throughout the state. For ease of communication and to save postage it would be best if these members were on the internet. Several League members are already on the list because of their expressed interest in a proposed unofficial on-line UN study.

This group plans to have an article in each issue of the state VOTER, calling attention to recent important international events, including activities of the United Nations, and to the work of other Leagues throughout the country involving international relations.

If you are interested in joining this committee, either now or at some time in the future, please let Doris Sutter know by e-mail at jdasutter@sprintmail.com. If you do not have email, please call the State office which will relay a message to Doris. Please state whether or not you have access to e-mail, either at home, at your League office or at a library.
