Since 1970 League has been part of my life. There are some members I know better than others— but all those I've met I would gladly call "sister" or "brother".

As you heard I've been going through "chemo" treatment the last 7 months. I've been told that I'm going through a "remission period" -- but I'm looking forward to a "cure".

I have received cards, letters and notes from League Boards and individuals. They all brightened my quiet days. I wanted to take this opportunity to say that even though I haven't answered you individually, your messages will be in my heart and I want to thank you for your kind thoughts which have helped me keep a positive attitude.

Thank you one and all. You will always be family.
