Invitation to Hold Convention 2001 in Los Angeles

LWV of Los Angeles has put out the welcome mat and would like to host the first California convention of the new millennium. They have much to offer in the way of facilities, as well as the following attractions to enjoy while there: - The Getty Center: a world class museum - Disney Hall: - The new Cathedral: - The downtown library: - The Staples Center: - The Coliseum: in Exposition Park where there is a new Museum of Science and Technology - The MTA subway already open from downtown to Hollywood - A renewed Hollywood with Egyptian Theater and auditorium for the Oscars. We also have Chinatown, Koreatown, Little Tokyo, Leimert Park (West Coast home of African American jazz), Olvera Street (the historic beginning of the Pueblo), and much, much more.
